VICTORIAN TAMBOURS CROCHET/EMBROIDERED LACE SHOULDER AND CHEST COVERING

VINTAGE VICTORIAN TAMBOURS, THREE CROCHET AND ONE EMBROIDERED
These four items were found with a large cache of Victorian clothing and lace.  I was told they are called Tambours and were hand made to add decoration to the shoulder and neck of a variety of Victorian ladies dresses.  I acquired these along with three Victorian lawn dresses which I will list later, and a bag of Victorian lace.  They are in very good condition.  Two of the crochet measure 20" across and one measures 19" across.    The embroidered one measures 20" across.

Vintage dresses and other vintage pieces are used items and have been pre-loved by someone else.  As such, they are rarely perfect and will require some amount of cleaning or pressing to make them wearable/usable (in order to keep prices reasonable, I leave this up to the buyer).  Small imperfections, e.g., wrinkles, small snags, loose seams, etc. may be present.  I will try to point out and photograph significant issues but may
inadvertently
miss something.  It's important that you understand this.
