    Description

    Antique GOWN YOKE: Vintage Tatting Lace w/ Ribbon, Edwardian Nightgown Camisole.  Lace is in excellent condition, the bow on the ribbon is showing some fraying.  The ribbon straps appear in good shape. The lace is 2.75 wide and the bustline is 19in across (38in around.)  This could have been used in a camisole, corset cover, night gown or other lingerie.
    This was found in a trunk used by relatives to emigrate in the late 1890s.  Those relatives were known to create handmade tatting work themselves.
